Therapist's Background

Originally from Wexford, I have played football, hurling, soccer, rugby and athletics all my life and have received various team and individual honours over the years. I have also been involved in coaching underage football and soccer teams. I have had my fair share of injuries and it was this, coupled with my passion for all sports that lead me into a career in Physical Therapy.

Academic History:

I received a third level education in the University of Limerick by obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997.

I qualified as a massage therapist in 2003 through the Institute of Physical Therapy.

After a further 2 years study, I qualified as a Physical Therapist, through the Institute of Physical Therapy in 2005.

Employment History:

I have worked as a physical therapist with senior football teams in both Wexford and Dublin.

I worked from a Health Centre in a city centre gym in Dublin.

In Galway, I have worked privately, in a holistic centre, in Leisureland Centre, Salthill, The Elmtree Clinic, Oranmore.and currently work as Barna GAA Physical Therapist, while also helping out Liam Mellows Hurling Club.
